Filming
We filmed in several locations; The dark room, The college toilets and LGM 04.
In the dark room, we filmed the process of te pictures developing, in filming in the dark room we had to follow certain procedures. We couldnt film with the camera light on whilst the picture was developing as it started to develop then the picture fogs and just goes black. We could turn on the camera light once the picture was in 'the wash'
We filmed in LGM 04 during our class sessions as thats the time that the room was free. We used this room to film our interviewing scenes. I think that this worked well as the angle that we filmed the scenes showed a plain white room which looked like it could have been a small cell in a police station.

A Brief Overview of the script.
Officer Joel: So... How would you describe your relationship with Miss... Lauren Ralph? I understand that the two of you didn't really ever see eye to eye.
Samantha: Ye, your right - we didn't - she was a bitch!... But... I couldn't have done this.
Karl: (looks down, he looks weak with pain, dazed in disbelief)
Duncan: It's true, not many people liked her, she didn't have many true friends, but she really didn't deserve this.
Kimberly: Look at her, look how beautiful she is...i mean... was... She had everything - everything.
Karl: Who could have done this?
Officer Joel: I've deduced that whoever did do this was pure evil. In this college, Miss Ralph wasn't exactly one of the most favoured students amongst her peers. Whoever killed young Lauren must have genuinely despised her... A lot of planning went into this, so it seems... For some unknown reason, they really wanted her dead.
Kimberly: I can't believe she's gone.
Karl: I was in love with her...

Editing
We used a programme called Final Cut Pro.
At first when we used to computers i found it really weird that we had two computer screens for one computer. On top of that i also found final cut pro a bit hard to use. nce Paula taught me a couple tricks, i found it quite alright to us and a quick process.
The first thing that we ever edited was clips of star wars to make a trailer. I worked with sinead for this project. At first we ere confused as we had to log and decide which order we were going to put these clips to come up with a decent trailer.
We had a machine for the tapes that we used for filming. We had to insert the tapes into this machine and stream it through to watch it through as we did our editing.We had a few problems but we solved it out in the end.
As we were editing we noticed that we had to render our videos and effects each time that we put a video on the timeline. To prevent us from becoming so annoyed with the rendering process Sinead made up a saying 'Lets Render This Bad Boy'

Costumes
Lauren - To wear leggings that are ripped and have slits all over them, in a variety of places. A patterened bra that will show through her ripped up top which will be in a similar state to her leggings. Hopefully her slit lothes will emphasise her bruises and the torturer that karl put her through.
Karl - To wear a shirt, preferably blue or creme shirt, (maybe with a bowtie or tie) with trousers and some big thick glasses. To pull of the 'geeky' look.
Kimberly - Dress in Jeans and a Standard Top.
Samantha - Dress in Jeans and a Standard Top.
Duncan - Dress in Jeans a and a Hooded Top.

However as we were all busy due to filming being the same weeks as exam week, there were alot of cancellations. Me and Naadirah also played parts, then when we looked back at the tape, we didn't like it and got others to play parts.
So Lauren was played by Sinead, but the pictures were taken of Alesha.
Samantha was played by Taytum (My little sister)
Kimberly was played bY Charlotte.

Filming Dates and Locations
My group and I hope to start the filming from Wednesday 20th of January onwards.
We will be using 3 different locations. One of which will be the dark room at Sutton coldfield design centre. The other hopefully in the media room, as an interview room and a college corridor to shoot the close up shots and long shot of the dead tortured body.
We will aim to shoot the dark room scene on Wednesday 20th January at around 1.45 pm and aim to finish it that day.
We hope to shoot the interviewing scenes Monday 25th of January and finish by the week of February 1st.
However....
We ended up finishing our final scene on Monday 8th February. This was the dark room scene that we ended up deciding to shoot it last.
